Building the first prototype Air Cannon

We have now started to build our prototype Compressed Air Connon. To complete this task, we had to cut down all of the piping to size. We are using pipe that has been pressure tested to 10bar (140PSI) to try and ensure that it can withstand a high amount of air pressure. The Joints have been fixed using a Plastic Cement Weld to ensure that they are air tight.

The next stage is to source some more pipe with an external diametre of 30mm to mount the electronic pressure valve so that we can test it works. The Valve cannot be tested unless it is under pressure so build needs to be completed first.
